The Rankin County Capacity Enhancement Project

The Rankin County Capacity Enhancement Project aims to increase CAY’s capacity to provide Child-Parent Psychotherapy, an evidence-based intervention for infants and toddlers and their caregivers who have experienced traumatic events (e.g., domestic violence, abuse, neglect, separation from caregivers).  This grant is sponsored by Zero to Three (ZTT) and is a collaborative effort between CAY and Rankin County’s Infant/Toddler Court program. Currently, there are no rostered CPP clinicians in the state of MS. This project aims to increase the number of trained and certified providers in CPP and provide direct care to the families and children served by the Rankin County Infant/Toddler Court Program.
